  • The Bible is right, according to the Bible

  • I can only say that it is not grammar-nazi bait, just run of the mill stupidity.

  • It is not the biggest problem, it is just a new problem. I am as desensitized as anyone, but I also see how ridiculous it is that google is rummaging through all my data as an insatiable ogre.

  • I know they are handling them, now my sms are associated to my google account.

I have no reason to believe they are not doing with them whatever is more profitable for them.

  • Rocks are doing pretty well now, here, and all over the universe

  • how the baby’s body is going to chage fast in the first week?

You bet, it might be going from not existing to existing, that is some change.

It is really awkward, but it is due to a practicality, it is very easy to pinpoint last menstruation, but very hard to know when conception happened.

  • It is like an association and they have centers all over the world. You have to request to join a program, if they accept you, they provide lodging and food. It is free but they ask for donations.

I don't recommend to do it at home, it is all about the immersive experience.

I don't know about the science of it but it is brutally simple. There is very little philosophy to it.

  • I think that the experience is very unique for each person, so I will not get into that.

I think the main idea is that the sensory deprivation exposes how your brain works, to yourself.

It is very scientifical because it is all about leaving your mind empty and observing what happens.

This is where the experiences differ.

However, it is almost like a physical training on controlling your brain, of empowering you on what you think and how you think it.

We were about 60 people when I did it, only 1 left before the end, only one other said at the end that he did not find it very useful.

For me it was life changing, I must also say that when I found out that something like this existed, my first thought was "I have to do this"

  • It is a great thing.

It is a quite empiric meditation technic without any mystical stuff.

It is all over the world and it is free

It is actually written vipassana. Google it.

PS. There is food, I missed that part :D

  • yes, sorry there is food, but not much either, it is vegan and you eat facing the wall

  • Its called vypassana, it takes 10 days and it does wonders

  • that is why i love the gothic tone of Tim Burton, it is a Hallucinogenic reality with grotesque characters

  • Yes, it is more like a sleigh of hand or a magic trick. When the presenter discards an option, they are acting as a hand of god that skews the probability.

It is much easier to understand with a hundred doors. You choose one and then the presenter discards 98 doors, now you decide whether to keep yours or to choose the other one.

Here it is more obvious the role of the presenter discarding negatives.

  • Marketing, you talking about it. Stern named himself King of All Media, because he had found out that Michael Jasckson had named himself King of Pop

  • Trump is attacking Europe with the same tools that destroyed America

  • I have been thinking about this, it would actually also be "Overdeveloped Countries"!

"Developed Countries" aka USA and Europe like to talk about underdeveloped countries, they used them as examples and they are very patronizing about them, however they do not like talking about countries like the Scandinavians, where by comparison, THEY are the underdeveloped countries.

On the other hand there is countries like India, which feels like it has already gone through multiple cycles of development.

  • I don't know, it is quite common also in Africa
