Notice how they measure achievements in terms of spending: "China has nearly caught up to the United States in spending on research and development", or " [China] has presented itself as a leading international source of development financing, even though multilateral development banks, private investors, and traditional Western lenders still account for a larger cumulative share".
The actual material results of that "spending" only get a secondary mention, if at all.
Just gotta wait til 2033 when Medog Hydropower Station opens single-handedly adding 300TWh (almost as much as total solar power addition of China this year, which itself was a record).
Eh, just because the group that ended up in control of the protests was a CIA front, doesn't make the protests themselves inorganic. Just like the BLM movement in the US was coopted and eventually smouldered. That's why we MLs are so insistent on the need for organization. In periods of unrest, the most organized party takes over, if you don't have a vanguard party of professional revolutionaries ready, 99% of the time that's gonna be the local CIA front.
A failing dictatorship cannot have a neighbour have free elections, vote in who they want, & be economically prosperous. Thats the beginning, middle & end of it.
They really shouldn't have awakened the sleeping dragon.
