I mean, really just mangle it, make it the kind of almost unrecognizable mess that only someone with an abundance of unearned and untested confidence could produce on their first sit-down with Microsoft paint. I mean to find out if AI can make "bad" art.

  • Elon's going to lose this fight. All the other rich people backing Trump still think the snake won't bite them, and Elon doesn't have the same cult of personality Trump does. He had some good will for a while, but he's been burning that ever since the weird pedo guy thing, and that's nowhere near Trump's fucking cult energy.   • I suspect that Elon has fully bought in to the idea of meritocracy insofar as his status as the richest or second richest man on earth is a direct reflection of the value of his character. As such, I also suspect that he thinks as highly of you or me as we may think of gnats or house flies. He likely thinks the average person is a gibbering idiot with a prejudice that is very different from the one developed by retail workers. That is, his prejudice is born not from the experience of learning to run defense and preserve sanity, but from the common, daily pattern of exploiting people, and the fact that he's rich and you're not.

  • Anyone paying attention knew it, MAGA probably already knew it tbh. The only things happening here are:

    1. Elon's attempting to recoup his image with the left a bit.
    2. Elon is speedrunning pissing off the most authoritarian regime the US has ever had, plus all of its culty supporters who are probably, just now, wondering how the deep state got to Elon or whether he was a sleeper agent for them all along.
    3. Elon is going to have no friends left to stand for him when he gets invited on a permanent vacation.

In general, the majority of people who show up to these meetings are the NIMBYs who simply ask that everybody drive an $80,000 tank and run over anyone on a bicycle. We could really use your voice.

  • It sounds like your transit system has the good problem of needing to accommodate more passengers. Why not ask your local authorities (transit authority, city council, etc) to look into upgrading these busier routes to trams or even heavy rail? That way they could add A LOT more capacity without having to make the experience so uncomfortable, and they'd save money in the long run.

  • I think this is smart, businesses should always strive to lower their employee-hit-by-a-bus factor as much as possible instead of relying on a social nicety. I think that would also reduce a lot of the pressure to not call out sick or take PTO.
