  • I think their imagination for worst case is not creative enough. There will almost certainly be mass migration and climate fueled wars that aren't really touched on enough. They say crop failure, but don't use the word famine. The failure to be alarmist facilitates the status quo's lack of urgency. It's like being in a house that is on fire, but not being overly concerned because the fire is on the ground floor and we're two stories up. Is it even our problem?

  • Yes, I am interested in some expert analysis too, because on the one hand clouds increase albedo and on the other they trap heat that makes it below them. This paper makes it seem like the heat trapping is bigger than expected and more responsible than reduction of aerosol dimming pollution. Separating the different variables seems difficult.
