  • I tried, but failed as the server didn't seem to exist.

  • What if I go to the gray countries? Do I despawn?

  • Probably the latter; the person, background, and outfit (when they didn't change it) look too consistent between images for it to be AI.

  • For some reason I was thinking it was a test tube, but a bong seems more likely.

  • Well, that actually explains the sagging eyes and the melancholy face. Also might be a likely explanation of why these photos were taken: people just like documenting themselves trying out stuff.

  • Well, when was your laptop manufactured?

  • The only stranger on the Internet, my dear stranger, is YOU! You've been played! She was ALWAYS MINE!

  • She is, and always will be, MINE. Seethe and cope.

  • she's watching you...

  • Honestly, no idea. Maybe it could be a test for future scams, maybe it could be a social experiment, or maybe its just a troll.

It's kinda like the "You Are An Idiot" virus.

  • well as her best friend you should know that she's my girlfriend.

  • Man, why do you have to be so mean to the Fediverse Chick :(

  • No. Nicole and I have pledged our hearts to each other. If you dare make a move, we'll need to throw hands.

  • Why have you been messaging my girlfriend?

  • I tried the Matrix, it didn't seem to exist :/ Then I tried Frendica, and found out that my ISP blocked the main Frendica instance. I'm too lazy to use Tor and wait for the slower bandwith to load Frendica, or to find out other Frendica instances and search from there.

  • Hands off, buddy. She's mine!

  • The person and the background look too similar between photos for this to be AI. The person behind the scam probably searched the web, and stole this poor person's photos. Judging from the poor quality, I'd date it around ~2008

  • Anyone know why this message doesn't lose the "unread" tag. I'm using Boost.

Must be a Boost problem. File a bug report.
