  • Juul devices are re-usable but the pods aren't which still create a ton of plastic waste.

    Juuls/pod systems/"disposable" ones are, but there are plenty of options that are fully rebuild-able. RTA/RDA on a classic mod for example.

    Idk why so many abandoned the classic mods, they are so much cooler, I had one with Bluetooth and LEDs back in the day LMAO.

    Ig that "just works" aspect of the pods was as addictive as the nicotine :/

  • Took a look at the ifixit for the steam deck OLED, honestly it doesn't look bad at all. I've removed lots of screens from phones and other tablets and such, and this looks no worse than those.

    But man, MS really went out of their way to make the screen impossible to remove without cracking it on this one. There's a ridiculous amount of adhesive and coupled with the glass being really really thin... 😅 Yea it's a shit show when even the ifixit team can't even get some photos for their teardown without a shattered screen lol

  • Me and some friends wrote an outline for a zombie movie years ago from the viewpoint of the zombies. They see themselves as cultured and "normal" while the living are viewed as savages who waste their lives working, keeping up with the Jones' and addicted to stupid stuff like reality TV. It would have been done in the style of The Office/What We Do In the Shadows, with a film crew following around a small group of Zombies who explain their lives. The zombies would have a very close-knit socialist/utopia type lifestyle while us stupid living lived in a right-wing 'murica hellscape.

    If I was rich, I would be signing over a 500M budget over to you right now

  • Yea, it might be a wait. I picked up a launch unit just for the purpose of future exploits. I'm just leaving it sealed on a shelf, worst case, I can probably get back what I paid for it in a few years since sealed Nintendo stuff holds their value decently enough.

    Like most other people seem to feel about, there's just not enough of a pull for me to want to play it LMAO

    Especially since I already haven't played my fully modded Switch 1 in a few months as is xD
