  • Ask racist questions, get racist answers.

  • Shut up and take my online bullying money!

  • Appreciate open source projects, but…

The descriptions on its Github page looks heavily AI generated. It uses a whole lot of words to say very few things.

Would benefit from having a few screenshots instead of walls of text.

Also, it is just a Lemmy client for now, so just call it one instead of “connect to the fediverse”.

  • Got milk? Try vomit.

  • That’s a lorry.

  • That’s what she said.

  • Is it still a fail when they do it intentionally?

  • Quality is more important than features.

  • I wish there were more choices other than Samsung. I don't want any Chinese phones. Sony isn't available in my region, and most other Japanese/Korean phone makers have given up the international market.

  • Apple Maps sucks and boy I've tried.

For me, Apple Maps is good in some aspects and not so good in some. I still use Google Maps for finding businesses etc. I think its quality is highly depending on the region.

    Comparing emulation is crazy talk.

Not trying to compare with Android of course. Just pleasantly surprised that it is finally possible on iOS. My Samsung S23+ is still my main emulation console.

    No custom launchers.

The only custom launcher I liked on Android is KISS Launcher. Now with iOS all I need to do is swipe down and I get the same functionality (and looking much better).

I miss Fdroid every single day.

True. For me this is the biggest pro for Android. That's why I am still considering an Android tablet (can't quite decide it yet).

  • Same story back when it was called the Nexus.

  • As a safety risk, they should be recalled and replaced with proper controls for free.

  • Every month Google reminds us not to depend on their services.

  • In my opinion, the bottom toolbar should be reserved for most frequently used navigation.

Settings shouldn't be something that is prominent. Once the user have configured the app to their liking, they should only occasionally visit the settings page.

I agree that settings should go to the navigation pane on the left, just like in Eternity.

As for the profile page, I think it is good as is, and not sure about the benefits of adding a panel on the right. My suggestion is to make use of the empty space (see circled) and move the logout/manage account buttons there. Add labels to the buttons as they are not entirely intuitive.

  • I disagree.

    • Mbin's terminology (inherited from Kbin) is annoying. Thread vs post vs magazine, boost vs upvote etc are unconventional and annoying.
    • No default sort option. Every time I want to see new posts, I have to manually select "new"
    • User instance and community instance are hidden
    • Difficult to manage/view subscribed magazines
    • Image upload dialogue is confusing

Lemmy has alternative UI such as Voyager and Photon, they are way ahead of Mbin in terms of look and feel.

What do you like about Mbin's UX?

  • I had too much fat yesterday, so I decided to have something light today.

  • That's voice chat which has been there for a long time.

The 4o voice model is different. 4o can chat much more naturally, and you can interrupt the voice chat in 4o.

Try it, you can't interrupt the chat unless you touch the screen.

You can go back to see the 4o voice chat demo, and you will find out which different it is.
