  • After a lifetime of reading comic books, and amassing a pretty large collection, i just... stopped. It wasn't so much losing interest as I'd gotten what I needed from them. I just don't need them anymore. Now I'm left with 50 some boxes of comics to get rid of...

  • Agreed that Naruto, even if you skip all filler, is excessively bloated. It stopped being about telling a story and instead about being a cash cow pretty early on. And, the further it goes, the more it just becomes a fractal of the same story and themes overlaid on whatever new character is introduced.

    Never heard of Armored Trooper Votoms but Mushishi is great.

  • Getting into marriage in this context seems like a recipe for creating financial and legal stresses for a future you if a divorce happens. The rules of engagement, so to speak, change once you get married and it can create a lot of misery that just co-habitating or co-parenting avoid. Divorce is a whole other level than breaking up.

    Also just because her parents are rich, doesn't mean they'll share it with you - or not use it as a way to control you
