  • "You can't say the N word, but if whites go to war with browns, you know who to shoot at."

  • This shouldn't need to be said, but I caution everyone reading your comment to consider it may be wrong.

  • No, it's pretty popular.

The gamecube controller is a pile of shit. There's good reason why we don't make them like that anymore.

  • My PS1 died before I got a PS2 :(

  • Man issue with most things is $$$.

No point in releasing the most advanced console if people can't afford it or its features, ensuring no developers actually make games for it.

  • A lot of people don't realize this, but the same thing applied at an even greater scale with PS3's Blu-Ray player.

At the time, Blu-Ray players cost $1000 while the PS3 launched at $500 or $600. Sony was legit doing everyone a solid, and they got shat on for it.

It's so sad how the xbox 360 won that gen, considering it was the more expensive console when you factor in paying for 2nd internet. Then it ended up normalizing the trend of 2nd internet, lol.

Needless to say, I stopped buying consoles at the PS4 era. Thank god emulation is great, PC hardware is cheap, and many console exclusives are getting PC releases anyways.

  • It's a good thing we can emulate them easily with Dolphin and PCSX2.

  • Bruh, I don't think you understand that heating a room is cheaper than heating your whole house. If I ran my space heater 24/7, I'd be sweating all day. If I run my central heater 24/7, my house barely reaches the temperature my room does before I turn my space heater off.

My electric bill is ~$160 when running the central heater. It's ~$80 when I run my space heater.

As always, I encourage people to see for themselves rather than trusting strangers on the internet.

Experience is better than theory, every time. I feel sorry for the people who will avoid saving money because of comments like yours.

  • Then why are you replying to me?

  • My electric bill says otherwise.

As always, I encourage people to see for themselves rather than trusting strangers on the internet.

  • No shit.

  • No, I'm talking from experience.

It's the difference between an additional $5 and $70 in my electric bill every month.

  • Well, my electric bill went up a negligible amount and I keep the space heater running pretty much all the time.

Maybe you bought a shitty one or you're getting a shitty deal for your electricity.

  • Space heaters are the way to go.

It's the difference between paying $70 and $5 more per month.

  • Get her a space heater, you won't even notice the difference in your bill.

I recommend getting one that blows air instead of one that just heats oil. I've used both types, and the one that blows air is way more effective.

  • So hard to get excited over new processors when what we have is already so powerful.

I guess I'll be excited by the 7000 series or so.

  • Interesting.

  • I highly recommend avoiding this rhetoric because you will end up paying more for inferior hardware.

You are not actually "doing yourself a favor."
