  • I don’t know what’s correct; maybe I’ve just gotten used to this?

    But, specifically, my experience is with external links to images the images appear full size while with links to websites the hero image (I don’t know if that’s the correct term) isn’t. I also don’t know how a hero image is chosen when a website has multiple images.

  • The last article I read didn’t even mention the possibility which I couldn’t understand; at least this one does:

    It was not immediately clear whether the Republican leaders in Congress would allow a vote to override Trump’s veto in Colorado

    I can only assume republicans wouldn’t because they didn’t know they weren’t in step with Trump’s wishes?

    It’ll be interesting to see how it goes and how willing Congress is to separate themselves from such an unpopular president.

  • I don’t think I’ve ever done this either, but I have to imagine (based on having left chapstick in a hot car) that it will melt and get all over your clothes in the dryer. If it melts and solidifies on your clothes it would be hard to get out without using a very hot wash cycle and it would probably leave grease-like stains even if you did get it out.

  • So, what's the distinction? They changed the name, but not through the formal process of signing documents?

    It was named by Congress and can only be renamed by Congress. Trump signed an EO but EOs only control employees of the Executive Branch.

    I'm having trouble understanding what steps they need to take before I can rightfully be offended, and I don't know enough about how something like a building or institution is legally or illegally named.

    The EO thing is whatever. He can do whatever he wants there and no one really has any control over it. For me the line is when he physically had his name put on the building. He hired someone (with whose money?) and defaced a building that wasn’t his. Basically no different than if he put “The Trump MojoMcJojo House” on your house without your permission.
