Yeah it’s way too close for comfort, but it isn’t realistic to completely change the political landscape in one day or one election. I think with a bit of context, this is a huge win for the liberal party. A few short months ago they were projected to be completely wiped out at this election due to the previous leader’s unpopularity. That has not happened, and they have emerged with a new and recognisable leader in what looks to be a significantly stronger position. The important thing now is to limit the damage, and take back control of the narrative imo. Can’t get complacent - this is a clear step in the right direction, but needs to be followed up.
