  • So good!

  • Digital displays + my art = funky funky Moiré patterns!

  • Haha, awesome!

  • Thank you, I'm so glad you like it!

  • It's true, there is a notable absence of handrails.

  • ...or there'll be hell to pay?

  • Thank you! This was from a couple of years ago and it was a bit of a turning point in how I approached portraits. So I have a special fondness for this one!

  • Thank you! I'm really pleased with this one.

  • Turns out it's not a dog, it's a marmot.

  • This is amazing. I love it.

  • Thanks! Really pleased with this one!

  • Thanks!

I hope this confession won't do too much damage to my reputation or alienate me from my Lemmy confederates, but... it turns out I don't actually know very much about trains.

  • Thank you! This was fun!

  • Uncertain. In practical terms, the kind that rattles uncontrollably just as you try to ink the details on a face.

  • Only when I'm feeling brave! I can never make the curvature look right when I try it. Which I suppose just means I should try more often!

  • Thank you! This was a weird one for me: I almost never draw from imagination like this, completely without a visual reference. It didn't go as badly as I was expecting it to!

  • On an unrelated note, I'm working my way through your suggestion Perspective Made Easy. It's absolutely mind-blowing. I used to scoff at these mediaeval artists who didn't know perspective, because how could you not know something like that? Well it turns out I don't know it either. It's absolutely revelatory.

  • What an amazing style! Really nice.
