my personal experience with this is that I was talking medication that made me nauseaus. Did I learn to not smoke when nauseaus? No, but I got a bucket now
but for chosen name I have to disagree. I, a cishet man, have a chosen name that my friends call me. it goes beyond a nickname, if I get called my birthname by friends I get weirded out and feel on edge. However, family and coworkers call me by my birth name and thats perfectly fine for me
eh… except for the snowballing and igloo question, I had all of that in school. some of it in health class (the sex stuff) and some of it in religion (the drugs. dont ask me why)

tbh I think its perfectly reasonable. If a neighbouring country suddenly is part of an opposing force that has sanctioned and denounced, why wouldnt you put some troops in a defensive position?

what can help though is increasing your sens of self-efficacy. the belief that you can do/change something.
and it can be anything, really. read a page in a book if you atruggle with that. make something with your hands. beat that stupid boss in elden ring. doesnt matter, as long as you can finish it.
