  • Today i saw ChatGPT chat after an along while and it actually seems like they are are correcting course as they realize that it sucks in giving you accurate answers. And with the dwindling amount of accurate training data this won’t change anytime soon i think. Instead of it saying that it was wrong about smth it just says it misspoke??! And it’s just so “nice” to you—agreeing with any shit you tell it.

  • It is so weird to me that even stock image sites lean so much into that. If web search becomes unusable it would actually be worth it to go to these sites to get some human made ones. (Although they probably have them flagged accordingly)

  • Depending on how you measure “success. It may have not made a whole lot of money but people seem to have fun on there.

  • trains*

  • or servo!

  • Wasn't totally serious about my con. They do have a recently played and even an archive where you can re-listen certain shows you have missed (if you are paying member of their association).

  • One con: Finding new music is harder (I imagine).

You actually should actually try to listen to web radio. Still have a subscription with Qobuz but been listening to bytefm a lot and they have some great djs (they have different shows at different time.). I personally found there more new and great artist or songs than any personalized algorithm ever did.

One con: you’re too busy writing down the songs and you cannot really do anything while listening as you also too scared of missing something. /hj

  • I’m being so sincere right now 💯

  • It is a cover story! They use surveillance sharks.

  • Yeah, it’s probably the best solution there is (if there would not be a mandatory phone number you have to give) But gatekeepers do what they do best :(. It feels off to advocate for it though after already bringing many to Signal.

It is good to have an alternative, but having to need one would also mean that it’s has been already compromised by the EU. :)

  • A while ago i tried one of those mods bringing back the feeling of the 4J version of Minecraft.

Not sure if it is this one: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/legacy-minecraft But they brought back even an updated version of the tutorial world. Its worth checking out, it even has controller support.

  • xQc

  • That is true, which makes it so weird to get so much backlash from advocating for good transit in the first place.

Also driving by bike is often times overlooked. In my home town of 10k the supermarket has a us sized parking lot and is located right in the center... Its cheaper for you and others, healthier for you, others and the earth and its safer for others.

  • Honestly, what kind of thread is that? People get pissed about it but nobody will move somewhere to get an iPhone. (at least i hope not) And the money still comes from alternative people will pivot to, its not like they take the demand with them.

  • More load than the average F-150 user.

  • Don't get it either, maybe it also something to do with lemmys demographic being older. ( I believe that is the case with Mastodon vs. Twitter ) Sure it is sad that the planed single-player content was scraped for multiplayer ( even though i had lots of fun with the multiplayer as well, at least in its early days. ) But why crying about VI when it hasnt been released yet? Just see when it comes out...

  • But that is what they said i believe. If AI can do your job. In your example this is not the case.

  • Beautiful render!

  • They are real assholes though. Go out of their way to not use any standard and invent their own proprietary standards. (It actually looks worse than Microsoft, but i might be wrong.) they do not provide any open endpoints where you could connect your own solutions so you are forever trapped in their hellscape, forced to pay for their “solutions” to problems they create.
