Wine mixed with gassosa (basically a mildly lemony soda) my grandpa had on sundays. My grandpa tended to drink pretty sweet wine. So mixed with gassosa it tasted really good even as a kid.
My neck of the woods is somewhat lax about alcohol in family situations. Kids were usually allowed to taste so they would get used to the taste of alcohol for the future.
In the end i managed by adding two fans under the desk. And wiring them through a switch to one of the free MOLEX. Now it never goes over 77°C. Even at full tilt
The wiggle room on the actual pins saved you :-).
I'm frankly surprised lenovo didn't change pinouts between versions. They are more than capable of that.
When i wake up, my body is immediately ready. But my mind takes a lot longer to fully boot.
During that in between time you can talk to me. But my brain won't register you.
For the ringtone i have the ringtone from the sip pulsar phone we had in italy while for notifications i have the cascade chime from some doorbell in an ancient condo i worked at. Before that i had the "you got mail" from aol. But it was a bit too esotheric since no one where i live speaks english
Happened to me two days ago with altars of apostasy. I'm not sure if it counts as metal. It's tamer than oc's one. But Holy shit if it isn't still a wake up when it starts blasting at 5am.
At least it wasn't the fall of math again.
You know. I really didn't think about going the other way around and upping the lowest temperature instead of trying to lower the maximum. It's also way easier to do with LACT...
I think i'll try this+ under desk fans before having a go at undervolting.
I think repasting is a little too far. Since i just bought the card and don't really want to risk breaking it + losing the warranty.
It's for the warranty that i asked as well. Since on linux it's hacky to undervolt.you basically have to overclock while throttling the max wattage iirc. And i feel like overclocking is a bit iffy for the warranty's integrity.
Ok, that's good to hear. Though i think i'm still going to go through and at put 2 pc fans under the desk. Since at 5v they manage to keep it at 75 even when running for a whole day with 30°c outside; just as a peace of mind thing.
Do you know how mutch of a problem the thermal cycling is? Since it has 22°C swings every 2 minutes during it's typical workload. And i'm a bit worried about thermal stress making the card die earlier.
The motherboard is out of shape for an atx board. Same for all the connectors. Unfortunately it needed to be in it's case. Since it wouldn't fit in anything else. + cost of course.
Ah. The memories of being a wee kid and heating them up. And touching the red hot element.
I think that's one of those experiences that everyone that has been near them as a kid has had.
