If people begin to threaten harm to these cowards, I'd hope they think twice about it. It seems like anyone with a microphone is trying to spin every possible situation to gain followers or attract people to their side of the conversation, and at some point we need to ignore the chatter and start looking at the world with our own eyes, not through a phone screen.

  • We are also a nation of immigrants, and cultural heritage and pride is huge among those populations, which is something Wonderbreadville USA can't seem to understand, but also actively hates. My wife is 4th generation Mexican American, was born out of the Chicano movement, and they all celebrate their Mexican heritage while also being more American that the idiots screaming about white rights. No one gets pissy about a German, English/UK, French, Canadian, etc flag, but the second the flag of a brown country is flow, people lose their minds without a hint of irony.

  • As a Californian, while I'm sure we have the thoughts and prayers support from others across the country and world, I suspect we're pretty much on our own. It won't be long before other blue states are fighting their own similar fights against hostile takeover, and red states are cheering this shit on because "Commiefornia." And honestly, people are, but city councils are also doing their own balancing acts, if they aren't already MAGA infested. There isn't really a unified response as of yet, but I suspect that'll change as more of CA becomes threatened.
