  • The show Spartacus was also pretty goddamn cool. it's like Sam Rami thought to himself, "I should make soft-core gay gladiator porn in the visual style of 300, but, ya know, about Spartacus," and then did just that.

if you don't mind seeing lots of gladiator dick, the show is still pretty great. it went on for 4 seasons.

  • busted, lol

  • if you ever think that Trump couldn't possibly go lower, just wait...

  • I suggest a rewatch if you haven't seen it lately. it didn't get less funny, lol

  • Microsoft publisher, the wish.com version of Adobe InDesign

  • lmao

  • this is just ghoulish

  • I think a lot of this could be resolved by presenting this in a different context; perhaps if it were framed as "common misbeliefs" or "debunked common beliefs", and users could search by date of birth.

this could be expanded later, too, to include regional stuff.

  • because they know we'd all be cool with it for them to go after Clinton (and others) implicated in the Epstein files, and that wouldn't be a "pwn" or "win" for them, and it wouldn't show up to be the hypocrites they care in their never ending tu quoque arguments.

  • at 95%, it's just ethanol

I've had 190 proof Everclear before. it just burns.

  • if you're open to suggestions:

it would be nice if there was a link to evidence from a trustworthy source. wikipedia would probably do for most items, but those which reference scientific studies would be improved if a link to the study was also included.

otherwise, this is cool. seems like a fun little project!

  • this doesn't say whether the drivers were found to be at fault, just that they died while under the influence. and it was conducted with 246 cases in a single county in Ohio. it's hard to find a causal link without know a lot more.

    one interesting takeaway, though, is:

The high rate of THC positivity remained consistent over six years and was unaffected by the state’s legalization of recreational cannabis during the study period.

so, we have evidence that legalization doesn't necessarily lead to an increase of related DUIs. although, this could just as easily indicate that, since legalization, public consumption by those who drive high hasn't increased, and that all that changed is where they buy their weed.

hopefully, this will lead to larger, more well-rounded studies on this subject.

  • I certainly agree that the potential for mod abuse is equal, and that the problem is human nature, but, in my experience, the mods on reddit are far, far worse. for now...

  • are you asking how other people can do this, or are you asking how to do it yourself?

  • yyyyyyyikes...
