  • Because, frustratingly enough, he hasn't actually been convicted yet.

  • The only thing at the time that can help you is taking a bath or immersing your junk in hot water so it relaxes everything and makes you reflexively pee

    Matthew Perry mystery solved!

  • Oh I don't either. They imagine they know what their bibles say just like they imagine they know what the Constitution says.

  • So much for those "Judeo-Christian" ideals:

You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

    -Exodus 22:21

The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt...

    -Leviticus 19:34

Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

    -Deuteronomy 10:19

One would think if three of the first five books of both the "Judeo" and "Christian" Bibles repeat the same instruction, it's probably important.

  • Paramount still wants to be bought out by Skydance, and they need regulatory approval for it to happen.

This isn't "mental anguish" it's a mob shakedown.

  • Counterpoint: the fact that the moral "don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs" even exists is proof that people are indeed greedy and/or stupid enough to do that very thing.

  • Oh, I see.

You think this is a "politicians don't understand the tech they're supposed to regulate" issue, and not a "Elon Musk is bribing every greedy asshole in Congress to prop up his businesses at taxpayer expense" issue.

  • ALL HAIL THE MAGIC CONCH!

  • More goddamn Floridiots...

  • This is the kind of thinking that led to complacency after the 2020 election.

Trump is not the cause of America's rot; he's a symptom. Even if he's gone, there's a vast web of right-wing media, wealth, fascists, bigots, racists, and voters who are still willing to blow it all up to give the rich more money.

Somehow, we have to deal with the anti-intellectual oppositionally-defiant idiocy that is rampaging through 40% of our population before we can start making true progress again.

  • Gonna love seeing Alito and Thomas try to argue that in this one very specific and limited case it's perfectly fine for Congress to abdicate its Constitutionally appropriated powers to the executive branch.

  • Twenty-one offenses? Come on, Andrew Taint is more offensive than that!

  • And sports:

Disney’s 0.2 point gain over March was partly driven by cross-network coverage of the NFL Draft, the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship and the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

  • BAH GAWD KING, THAT'S THE CORPSE OF ITT TECH RISING FROM THE DEAD!

  • Is it really sundowning if he does it all day long?

  • I don't know if you've noticed, but Americans are real good at ignoring issues that don't affect them personally.

Oh I won't wreck my car, I'm a "good driver"!

I can't catch Covid because it's not real!

School shootings are just false flags the government uses to pass gun control laws!

Donald Trump only wants to remove the dangerous immigrants, not the ones I hire for my business!

  • That, and the cost of labor.

Multiple ag-tech startups have been trying to get a foothold in Appalachia with things like automated greenhouses, but ultimately it's still cheaper to bring in Central Americans on visas to do all the work than pay living wages to the locals.

  • The Zune was actually a great piece of hardware that was marketed poorly.

The Swastikkkar is a shit vehicle marketed poorly.

  • Hey, be fair to the guy. He only voted for all the ways Trump promised to hurt the people he didn't like, not for the ways Trump promised to hurt him.
