  • Well, now you are oversimplifying world politics to one man's deeds. As if Nato expansionism did not play any role in the creation of this conflict. Read a little history before 2023 and you'll see acquiring Ukraine is been a race between Nato and Russia since at least 2014.

  • Hamas complied with the ceasefire agreements. They released all the hostages designated by the first period of the ceasefire and negotiated the releases of the second period. Israel cut water and electricity while US demand Hamas to give it all in exchange for nothing, or at the very best in exchange for deportation of all palestinians = ethnical cleansing.

    Israel is pushing the limits. But at this point it's obvious saving the hostages is no longer in the priorities.

  • I see it more like a situational revenge. If you read the article, loyalists did kill over 200 civilians during the rebellion. By syrian standards, 700 deaths in response to 200 is almost understandable. At leat predictable.

  • For the record, I do tell friends not to have even consensual sex with way younger girls. If I was ever to know some friend raped, I would call the police 100%.

    The sad thing in this society is I'm kind a rare type of friend. Usually friends are much more rapist-tolerant, which makes raping almost a common thing.
