it's more about what kind of news pop up in the feed overly frequently. i don't give a shit about US elections or Musk, and I don't want to be confronted with war permanently either. i can't remember seeing many posts about nazis on lemmy, but i wouldn't mind reading about them being arrested, extradited or trampled by elephants, so they may stay off the list for now
i'd be more worried about about smudgy stuff. they get dusty, then it rains and the panel is covered in a film of dirt. bird shit on solar panels is already plaguing home users
