  • The Pulumi stack I've come to work on is all in typescript.

  • Stickers over cameras when you got to good clubs in Berlin.

Plus taking your phone out and recording is cringe.

  • I learnt about "evil helix" this week. It's back to vim bindings (delete in word)

  • Accountability is at both ends.

  • Gambling is for losers, literally.

  • NixOS in a VM for a few weeks and made it how I liked, copied that VM to server to VNC in (laptop battery was suffering), kept customising until i had it nice.... and then when it came to wipe my laptop for the nixos setup, I was bit scared.

But low and behold, nixos-build switch and then it was all there, just like the VM. Fucking amazing.

  • Lmgtfy

  • Dir name first and then files?

  • China hit peak coal already.

  • mkcd

    mkdir and cd into it.

  • Similar to yours OP I copy many URLs and then run my script that takes the number of URLs I copied eg 5,and downloads them with yt-dlp and GNU parallel to ~/Videos

I use CopyQ to hold the clipboard history.

  • Nice frontend plus Spotify integration for the library and then selecting different output sources from said frontend.

  • Navidrome + MusicAssistant

  • Good thing AI compute is easily shipable via the internet from the sunny desert.

  • Not my server, it's a shared one I have a http server and some files on. I want a nice frontend. I've used all in one php ones with some success, but this looks nicer.

  • Devops isn't a role.

Platform Engineer maybe, but even then I'd say they were "developing" the platform.

  • Reckon I can get this going somewhere where I don't have sudo?

  • Did give it a go a few months ago, but was a bit congitively heavy with lots of menus and reading.

If you like clicking I think it's pretty nice with everything in reach + more.
