No, my iPhone is not doing that because they give you a switch to turn it off and encrypt anything Apple touches. It disables some handy features but it’s a worthwhile trade off in my opinion.
Why? It’s not a main thoroughfare or (trigger warning) stroad. You can just cross the street back and forth as much as you like without any safety risk. Why put down even more non-permeable material and decrease density and increase the city’s maintenance burden for no increase in utility or throughput?
I think you should try having a close friend read what you wrote back to yourself out loud. I think it would teach you a thing or two about yourself and how you communicate with others.
For concrete, yes. Asphalt, no. But concrete floors don’t need bent rebar, you just lay out the sticks in a grid and pour over it.
