1·1 year agoNot only is UPnP a security risk, it’ll work only if a user has an IP that can expose ports. IPv4 addresses are becoming rarer on home networks and CGNAT connections can’t expose ports even if one turns on UPnP.

1·2 years agoThere seems to be a known bug which prevents people from subscribing to communities on different instances.
Music discovery is the primary reason why I’m still using Spotify even though I keep offline copies of albums I like. Spotify’s algorithm for music recommendation isn’t great but it’s not terrible either and I’ve found several albums and songs so far that I really like so I guess it’s worth it.
