  • i'm not trying to convert her, it's just that i'm comfortable in doing this, it feels natural to me.

  • because this video is a beginners guide and ventoy is irrelevant for that topic, yet here you are still talking about it.

  • wow, really wow.

i saw veronica talk about ventoy weirdos on mastodon, and here you are.

  • because it's a tiny system to get up and running, it's especially invaluable for systems like mobile phones because the disk space varies a lot and some of them are really restrictive in that regard (i don't know how mobian does it).

the thing is, this was supposed get everything simpler than openrc. the way i percieve it, that's not the case.

i'm not using plasmo or gnome/phosh, i use sxmo, so it won't affect me that much, but i think this effort might be fruitless at the end. i really really hope i'm wrong, because i love pmos (and sxmo).

  • Connecting Native Mobile API

Baileys also supports the native mobile API, which allows users to authenticate as a standalone WhatsApp client using their phone number.

does this mean we wouldn't need an official client to connect to every 14 days?

  • yes, thank you

  • lemmy client? it would be amazing just to have a tui.

  • is hikari good as a floating wm?

  • this is literally how we work now in construction. because everything is digital people think that this is an acceptable approach. all my costing files are purposefully extremely dynamic.

you want to add another floor? no problem.

you want to change some floors from 3 bedroom to 2 bedroom? no problem.

you want to remove a parking floor and have outside parking? no problem. you don't want to have low hanging beams? no problem.

and so on and so on...

i know i should not be working like this, but sometimes i have to.

  • i've had a t420 for years and it's still going strong

  • codeberg

  • if you're looking for an original distro, you should try void. it's super lightweight. i used to keep away from gentoo because it was a source only distro, i would otherwise go fulltime on it, but now that it also has binary compatibility you should check that out, too.

as for wm, i love wayfire as a floating wm, and sway as a tiling wm.

  • which was made possible thanks to public funding.

  • best supported one seems to be 3a. i think google is fairly developer friendly, so it should be easier to unlock their phones. you can check the supported devices here.

  • with note3 unlocking was a breeze. i got a poco f1 a couple of months ago and i literally spent a week to find the correct unlocker. this is really getting out of hand. i would buy a fairphone or shiftmq for my next phone but my country has some weird rules in place for iemi's so it's really not an option.
