  • I'd say some clothes had stat effects. Left outfit gives +2 Charisma and -1 Dex. Right outfit gives -3 Charisma but short rests have the effect of long rests

  • From what I'm understanding your looking to do something like combine an arr stack, jellyfin/plex, torrent client, and vpn into a single package utilizing cloud storage? That sounds pretty cool since media collections can get big. I'm not quite getting the monetization side of things, is it just for access to the cloud storage? And then how does advertising and content creators come into play? That sounds like your also trying to compete with YouTube. I know your trying to keep things vague so don't feel like you gotta go into details but I'm I understanding your post mostly?

    I am potentially interested but I won't have stable internet access besides cellular for about a year. I know your shooting for end of July so if need people asap then I'm no good.

    Good luck regardless I got into selfhosting about 4 years back, and getting all the different programs set up correctly was quite the learning curve. Doing it all in one style might simplify the process enough to onboard less tech savvy people.

  • Legend of Legia is my goat PS1 game that rarely gets the love it deserves. I loved the combat/combo system that allowed you to use the end part of one art into the beginning of another art was so awesome. The story was great and the characters were wonderful. It was such a fun unique take on jrpgs of the day

  • I would put one portal on a pneumatically actuated plate above a dais that holds an object, and the other portal on a plate placed at a 45 degree angle. I would then see if an object on the dais would fly or fall out of the 45 degree portal, if the other portal actuated and closed the distance between its starting point and the dais.

  • The internet just isn't a good space to spend a lot of time. It's mostly corporate controlled and they've found anger drives interaction online so most things you read are designed to be upsetting. I've drastically cut down on my internet usage over the last few years and while I do spend more time doing things I enjoy, due to not being online, I've found that going back on reddit or something similar can send me right back into a negative headspace for the rest of the day like when I was online more. I just think that most parts of the internet are miserable places to be.

    I don't remember it always being this way either. Back when small formus were the norm I found the internet to be much less hostile overall. Not that there weren't jerks and chuds online back then, but there wasn't the profit incentive to drive engagement over all else
