AOC and others who are prepared to fight this bullshit need to spin off their own political party. I figure it would only take the departures of a handful of high-profile progressives to make the whole house of cards fall. The country is being pillaged, and the Dems’ response has been completely fucking impotent. Time to build a new party that isn’t run by geriatric milquetoasts.

I’d put that chance closer to 0%. The people who care enough about the rule of law have too much to lose, and those on the side of the fascists either have nothing to lose or are too infirm to fight.

I followed this guide and have had zero issues. I had to do it this way because Opnsense didn’t natively support my 10g NIC. I have Proxmox handle the hardware side of things and pass through a virtualized card to Opnsense (albeit with slightly reduced performance).
My hot take: When Trump kicks the bucket, the MAGA movement dies with him. JD Vance sure as hell isn’t going to inspire the faithful the way Trump did. With a lack of political capital, and because he’s so desperate to be liked, Vance would probably have to act more like a “traditional” Republican, if that even means anything anymore.
