Your complaint shows a complete lack of respect for the manufacturer’s profit margins. They probably save a couple bucks per vehicle by skimping on materials optimizing paint dispersion.
EDIT 2: Mozilla’s response to my message: “We did assess OneRep’s data removal service to confirm it acts according to privacy principles that we advocate at Mozilla. We were aware of the past affiliations with the entities named in the article and were assured they had ended prior to our work together. We’re now looking into this further.”
It seems like Mozilla should have had access to more information during their due diligence process than Krebs would have had as a third party. This is very concerning.
It’s crazy to me that Amazon just lets Krazam film in their offices (and nearly a decade of employment at Amazon tells me that is 100% an Amazon office). They’re such inflexible, ungenerous bastards.
I’ve heard it said that Americans purchase based on the maximal use case as opposed to the typical use case. As an American, that description makes so much sense. As an example, I live in an area where there are a lot of hills and it snows rarely, but just about everyone who can afford a 4WD SUV has one. Heaven forbid they can’t drive around on those 1-2 days a year that it snows! Meanwhile, they get shitty gas mileage driving to work the other 300-odd days of the year.
Wild-ass idea here. If these wealthy individuals want to be separated from their extreme wealth so badly, why don’t they reduce their executive compensation and distribute the difference among their employees? You know, the people who do the work that earns them the extreme wealth in the first place.
Google has been doing this kind of thing for a while. If you try to use Google Meet in Firefox, you can’t use things like background blurring. Spoofing Chrome works in that situation as well.
It’s supposedly the most shorted stock on the market, which I think means it’s going to be damn difficult to turn any sort of profit on it.
Just add DJT to the stock tracker app on your phone and pay yourself in schadenfreude as it rapidly and inevitably approaches zero.
