  • No it's really is PipePipe (I know what a silly name) and since it gets updated more frequently than other forks I thought it might be better and yeah you're right I can't access YouTube proxy services because I use a VPN but then I have no choice so that's that

  • Thanks but I'm kind of a veteran myself. I run GrapheneOS and the only Google service I use is YouTube ReVanced with MicroG. I decided to replace it with Pipepipe wiwhich does not have dearrow as LibreTube and others that use some kind of proxy won't work with a VPN anymore and I need to use a VPN to access YouTube unfortunately

  • Right. In my opinion Twitter was a shitty place before Elon bought it and now is even a shittier place if that was even possible

  • I still active on Reddit, Twitter, YouTube and sometimes LinkedIn for work (never used Facebook and Instagram) and I like Lemmy and Mastodon alot but I see no reason to restrict myself to only use Fediverse. On a side note Maybe I'm out of the loop here but why do you guys call Twitter, Xitter?

  • I don't think they integrated de-arrow in grayjay yet

  • Yeah but I can confirm LibreTube has both. awesome

  • Thanks I'm already using freetube Desktop with libredirect like you suggested. Didn't know there is an Android app too

  • You sure tubular integrated dearrow?

  • Yes at the moment I'm using Revanced yt but wanted to find a way to get rid of it and MicroG all together

  • I guess that's OK. Atleast it's not everywhere like Reddit

  • Yeah I get it. I guess that's just what people are. We crave being approved by other

  • Atleast it's not rewarding (hypothetically) like Reddit

  • Hive mind mentality sums up Reddit culture pretty accurately. so happy to be here

  • These kind of laws are gonna get used against political dissent and rivals by the government. It's so obvious honestly if you can't see it then I don't know what to say

  • Damn don't get me wrong I'm against hate speech but government is not the one to decide what is hate speech and what is not that's how a democracy is destroyed.

  • You're welcome

  • I have been using windscribe since 2019 and honestly they are the best their pricing in a discount is very competitive (and you get locked-in that discounted price for as long as you keep renewing the subscription) all their clients are open source they are audited multiple times and you can use custom dns in all their clients (I personally use Next DNS with them) and generally they have all the bells and whistles a good VPN should have Edit: they have only one downside I can think of that is they don't have permanent port forwarding unless you buy an static IP address from them separately.

  • If you are worried about it then do something about it there are alot of things you can do to improve your privacy. If that's not the case then forget it

  • Thunder and Voyager both have keywords Filtering. don't know about others
