Interestingly, your reasons for not getting drawn into the trailer are the same that did draw me in. Only the barest hint at a narrative premise has me intrigued, plus it looks ludicrous in a "12 Monkeys meets Wes Andersen" kind of way. It's immediately up top of my Want-to-watch list.
Man that sucks. A Chamber of Commerce ought to do much more than that. For instance, ours has always been a great resource for us. Frequently it's networking events and such, but if we ever need anything, they find the people to help. When we needed capital they figured that out for us too. Our CoC has been an amazing partner for four years now and I highly doubt we'd ever consider leaving.
A coworker of mine introduced me to these about five or six years ago, when they could only be acquired in specialty Asian grocery stores. Now I can get them at Shaws and I fuckin love them. I've got three packs in my pantry at the moment. They're best if you add microwaved chicken nuggets to them.
