  • I don't get this massive hate for AI. I am running it on my PC locally, have been using it as a toy to make some funny images, videos, voice clones to make my family and friends laugh. I might be naive but why the hate towards a tool that nobody forces you to use? It has its problems, sure, not to me it looks just like when painters when you present them with a camera.

  • That is a good point, but analog clocks are IMHO in the realm of sundial clocks or audio casettes or floppy discs. Technology that was once usefull, but now it's replaced by better alternatives. Time is after all just a number, and it does not matter how we choose to represent it.

    There are of course much worse things on the internet freely available, sometimes even advertised and pushed on you. And the internet is not the worst thing here. Alcohol and gambling advertisements on TV are IMHO the worst. But I have advertising as a whole so I might be biased.
