  • Yees we're failing so much behind glorious mother russia, yees comrade sputnik, sure. /s

  • The rate is higher because we can "catch" more cases with better diagnosis.

Imagine machine that is throwing 100 balls per second. Another machine that can catch 10 balls per second. You catch 10 balls.

Now newer machine can catch 20, and newer can catch 50.

Does that mean the number of thrown balls is higher? No. It just means we have machines better at caching them. The same goes for any illness, autism, schizophrenia, cancer, depression...

Some ilnesses we are better at curing, does that mean the the illness is getting weaker?

  • The source is "I made it the fuck up!"

    Also ignoring improvements in diagnostics.

  • Although, being gravely negative comes with its own additional issues like worrying about possible negative future that in 99% of cases does not happen. We have one overly negative person in the family and it is wearing them down, all is bad, other people do [put anything that you'd think is absolutely fine] better/differently so we must be doing it wrong and it will fall/catch on fire/explode. Being positively realistic is IMHO the best path.

But what do I know, maybe that is just the positive side of me talking and some train really derails and hits me in my office in 4th floor.

  • Did Linus do something or is this just some trolling?

  • And then their battery exploded and everyone at Apple laughed. The end.

  • DAE?

  • I wouldn't say I am autistic, but reading social cues is sometimes really hard. I was pretty social in my 12-22 years. Now it's like "So I wasn't supposed to say that? How should I know?" Talking with clients on the phone is a pain because most of the time they dribble unnecessary stuff, unrelated to the issue we're supposed to take care of. I don't care how your day went an what not. I want you to tell me what you want from me so I can hangup the phone and get to work. Is that bad?

  • My screen almost cracked from the compacted stupidity in thus picture. I am so glad I don't live in USA. Not saying we have it that much better where I live, we have elections around the corner and our village idjits are loud, but atleast we do't have THIS.

    I am sorry America.

  • Oh noes. Anyway, I found the bugger that fell from my nose yesterday.

  • Yeah it makes me happy to see my features WORKING in production. But most of the time I am the only one enjoing them just working :D

  • Yeah sometimes the village is full of idiots.

  • Hell yeah, untill you run to cry home bacause someone said some vague word that by cosmic accident just happen to trigger your emotional barrier and you end up crying the rest of the night.

  • "You are correct! The sentence should be changed to death, in some countries, stealing bread is considered a capital crime."

  • Might be that your account is DELETED, their systems recognise it's DELETED, but you were somehow still present in their mailing lists.

  • I pull them all the way down for my pussy.

  • Only thing I have ised this for was making funny edit to have fun with my family and removig unwanted elements from photos (people on beach or trash in alleys), but I can imagine people will use this to fake their online lives even more.

  • Yeah, enjoy the flies and sad empty corners without happy little webs.

  • "How to ragebait insecure [greek aphabet letter] man"

I'd probably do parkour again, conquer the urban jungle.
