  • Lmao this is brilliant

  • How much did you pay for the privilege?

  • Thanks. Because of this post I was able to figure out how to change the search engine on my phone

  • Especially when I'm not supposed to be on the email

  • I hope you have your popcorn! I outsourced the explanation though.

Imagine Donald Trump as The Thing from the Fantastic Four: an oversized, lumbering figure with an unmistakable, gaudy orange, rock-like exterior. His presence is hard to ignore, not just because of his sheer size and brashness but because he bulldozes through political and social norms with little finesse, much like The Thing smashing through walls.

In this form, Trump's bluntness and tendency to overpower conversations mirror The Thing's raw physicality. His speeches are repetitive and simplistic, hammering his points home in a manner akin to The Thing's catchphrase, "It's clobberin' time!"—straightforward and unsubtle.

However, just as The Thing struggles with his monstrous appearance, Trump's public persona is marked by a mix of bravado and thin-skinned sensitivity. His abrasive approach often alienates allies and emboldens critics, making his interactions as rocky as his hypothetical exterior. Both figures are defined by their confrontational nature, but where The Thing's battles are physical, Trump's are rhetorical and often divisive.

  • That makes sense. Thanks

  • Perfect. And throw in a few surprise paternity tests at the same time

  • Lol true. My point though was that he is The Thing that will never leave

  • Can we make the candidates clean it up as a team? I think it would be fun to watch both of them use a mop...together.

  • Maybe they have to be filmed the whole time 🤔 I wonder if Abbott would let Pornhub operate again if they agreed to film Biden taking a drug test

  • Can Maury reveal it as well?? I would actually watch it then!

  • My concern is that he will run again and again until he dies. Ideally if he won this year he could never run again. Obviously he's a fascist so he will probably try to stay in (again) but man I am not looking forward to the next 20-50 years of him. And I'm guessing he's going to live forever at this point.

  • Wait, the Chamber of Commerce is conservative? Is that all of them?

  • Agreed, it's unfortunate that some people rely on it for work.

Personally I only go on there unintentionally when I don't look at the link I am clicking on beforehand

  • Well considering that one woman literally pulled another woman's skirt down (not all the way) because she felt it was too short, in front of other people, and then called 911 herself, I wouldn't put it past someone in a bathroom to do worse if they "suspected" someone was trans, whether or not they actually are

Also I'm sorry for all the commas but I already did it and I don't want to edit it lol

  • I think there are a few problems - many private schools are religious, many parents have to work multiple jobs for their small apartment (and so can't do homeschooling), and a lot of people, at least in my area, that were homeschooled as children have religious fundamentalists for parents that completely fucked their lives educationally and socially (and so don't see homeschooling as a viable alternative)

But yeah, public education has sucked for awhile. I remember in high school they gave everyone in my grade the same final exam, but half of us studied one subject and half of us studied a different subject. So my class was royally screwed. Did I mention the test determined the teacher's pay for the following year? So the teachers were screwed also.

  • I mean, I'm not going to read it so I definitely won't be fact checking it

Maybe I am her audience 🤔

  • Well she didn't meet with him...so technically she didn't lie

My guess is she was "planning" to meet with him but never told anyone (except her publisher) and ultimately "cancelled" it because she probably had no idea how to even approach getting such a meeting in the first place
