I listened to the audiobook. It’s always fascinating to learn how people become who they are, it was especially interesting knowing that she’s a professional in the field.
It’s always interesting to hear about where people draw the line. I drank 6 beers over 4 days and I feel like an alcoholic. I’ve also done takeout 3 days in a row and I feel gross about it - I just made meals for the week. In the meantime what I described for some people is an average week.
2 phones ago I kept my phone for 6 years and it became sooo slow I had to upgrade it. Had it wasn’t for that, I’d have kept the phone longer. Last was 7 and I upgraded because someone gave me a newer phone for free. Perhaps it’s just a preference for me to keep devices until they die.

Dogs are male? In my language dogs are female. So I guess there is no standard for gendered language.
