  • If we are modding chess.

Make board 10x10 add two pawns, and add a prince and princess.

    Cross between king/knight/pawn and queen/pawn.

Prince moves like knight but only into an unoccupied square, takes like a king, but only moves forward like a pawn, can move back one square when taking.

Princess moves like a queen but only forward, like a pawn.

  • See horse... Saw horse

  • This, could work.

But depending on personality issues... It could just escalate the issue.

  • I don't disagree, but my point is.

It's a category error, LLMs are text prediction engines. There is nothing behind the curtain, they can't by evil, because that implies understanding and intent.

LLMs are evil in the way that earthquakes are evil, it is pure anthropomorphism, and it's taking the focus from were the real issues are.

Don't get sucked into blaming the hammer, when the one swinging it it right there.

  • I can't agree, the LLM's don't have the capacity to be evil. They may be called AI but there is no "I" anywhere in there.

The companies however....well that is a different story.

  • Thanks for that. I'll be sure to avoid anything by them.

  • I don't want to click the link....what band was he in?

  • Kinchius

  • First assume the cow is spherical and traveling through a vacuum.

  • This it a great suggestion.

One "Trump fact" could be referenced in multiple articles.

  • It's pronounced Bouquet

  • I bet he didn't see that coming.

  • Oh yes

  • Why does the dude behind Kim look like a kid in an adults hat?

  • It is the west island of the mythical land of New Zealand

  • When you have a Samsung monitor, even windows boots faster

  • Another one bites the dust, also works.

  • It depends on where you are.

e.g. in NZ, we don't have a problem with illegal immigration, but completely legal "temporary migrant workers".

The issue, isn't the people, it's the load on already stretched infrastructure. Because they are "temporary", they are not factored into the calculations for infrastructure spending.

This wouldn't be a problem, if a short team need was being met, but it isn't... There are always temporary workers, because we as a country can't fill all the jobs from local supply.

With birth rates and other immigration, our population growth is around 1.5%, not the 0.5% we target our spending at.

If we spent at a rate that accounted for the real population growth, everything would work better for everyone.

  • Kinda.

  • Getting the washing off the line...time to play "is it still wet, or just cold"
