There are thousands of recipes sites on the internet with dead simple recipes, especially for cookies. Baking from scratch has never been easier to do.
I like to use the terminal as much as I can as well, but for first time use/checking it out something a gui is nice to be able to jump in as quickly as possible.
I learned a lot this morning about adding users via command line, ssh keys, default directories, and default shells. Stuff a gui wouldn't teach me ☺️

I just got a VPS, installed Easy Panel on it and am going to use it to setup portainer (used for container management) .
I also just ran across k3s yesterday and am thinking I'd try an install of that as well to see how that works/what that's about

That's a lie, they don't run toward gunfire at all. And they'll wait until they have at least three departments of officers before doing anything.
If they want to break glass as a distraction they can do that already, they don't need a drone. And their plan to break glass will startle an already on edge and unstable shooter, instead of using tactics to de-esecalate the situation. Also, isn't this what swat is for? They have no qualms about flashbanging babies in cribs but when it comes to an actual situation all of a sudden they need drones so no cops are in any iota of danger.
In the US, if the server doesn't meet minimum wage using tips the balance comes from the business to ensure the serve has been paid minimum wage. Actual minimum wage, not server minimum wage. All tipping does is subsidize a restaurants labor costs.
Not tipping will definitely lower the income of a server since a lot make over min wage off tips. Labor laws need to change for servers so they aren't in an exploitable position and have to rely on tips to live and deal with power tripping customers who think servers are their slaves b/c "they're paying their wage"
Were seeing the consequences in the US in real time of people unqualified to be parents. They vote for destruction and raise their kids to do the same.
Let's go a step further and look at why people are in burnout, are overloaded, are working 3 jobs to make ends meet.
Its because we're all slaves to capitalism.
Greed for more profit by any means possible has driven society to the point where we can barely afford to survive and corporations still want more. When most Americans are choosing between eating, their kids eating, or paying rent, while enduring the workload of two to three people, yeah they'll turn to anything that makes life easier. But it shouldn't be this way and until we're no longer slaves we'll continue to make the choices that ease our burden, even if they're extremely harmful in the long run.
I moved to a rural location and your four points are exactly how it is. I have to harass my doctor to get them to put in referrals.
My wife had to go and physically walk a referral from the doctor to the hopsital across the parking lot to make sure they actually got it. Then stayed and scheduled it right then b/c getting a callback for scheduling is a crapshoot.

Input forms can be designed so that an email input doesn't put a space in it. Notice the .com, .org or whatever doesn't do that, it's just when it's in the username portion.
Its just lazy programming to not do it.
Sometimes the username is not whats expected. Is it the full email or just the first part of the email? Is if something generated by the system? Do you use the system often enough to remember it?
Putting a "what's my username link?" Can be helpful
