  • it's the age of grifting and unfortunately she's kind of winning, Dems spend so much time calling Reps idiots but reps are making a killing with their grifts, breaking the law and getting away with it

  • if it's the random dude on Twitter and this is a classic Twitter article then it's likely a big nothing burger.

some dude on Twitter has been spouting that he's a big security expert but last I looked at the tweets I was not convinced of anything

lots of words and no evidence

  • it's more of a "know your audience" thing for me

I can make all sorts of stupidly sarcastic jokes with my friends but when it comes to the internet there's probably thousands of idiots who read content and take it as face value and as genuine

  • this is what I said about the Linux memes about Linux being hard to use, people were upset I said that because of the "can't take a joke" angle

but I seriously believe that those memes do more harm than good

  • that's exactly why I'm saying this. I know from experience helping other devs with git issues it's always because they're using a GUI alternative to the CLI and they're clicking on things they don't understand

  • let's turn this into a constructive angle for future devs and current juniors: just learn git cli, I promise you it is much simpler than it seems.

all those memes about git having like a thousand commands are true, but you really will only use like 7 at most per month.

learn push, pull, merge, squash, stash, reset, im probably missing like one or two

I promise you again: it is much simpler than it seems. and you won't have to use these stupid git GUI things, and it will save you a hassle because you will know what commands you are running and what they do

short disclaimer: using git GUI is totally fine but low-key you are missing out on so much

  • I don't think I saw this mentioned but you're are all aware that you can press "U" and it will select United States, right ?

  • 100% what I think about this store that opened up close to me. it has AI food product images, whats the point? I sincerely dont understand how they think it helps

  • thriller vibes

  • I love the way the "we won" is voiced in this episode so much

  • GitHub CI is great. too great. some devs have taken it upon their hands to attempt and wield an unwieldy power.

and unfortunately at my work it is my job to fix that unwieldy power

  • I don't think anyone considered cool these days talk about bands

  • at this point in genuinely not sure if America is ready to elect a woman or a minority any time soon

obama's run was fantastic though. mitt romney had the charisma of an urinal cake

don't think I'll live long enough to see something like that happen again

  • if you're not reverse engineering a router over uart right at this moment she doesn't care

  • I don't care. do you ?

  • don't know what youre playing but in my exp healers are the babysitters to a bunch of monkeys who are looking for fun ways to die

  • I will donate if you make wholesome/endearing content between the fish and the girl

  • I didn't even bother reading anything about project 2025 because I thought surely it wouldn't come to this

  • this is just home time + time alone for me

    good decompression
