  • We're in the middle between elections, the difference between the blocks is often even greater at this point so the right is doing fairly well unfortunately. And with the ongoing and continued focus on security and defence that is right where they feel at home. Additionally, the opposition is completely silent for some reason, just like the democrats in the US. Silence doesn't win elections, silence from the opposition means approval for the rulers.

  • Looks like he is starting to follow Elon down into the rabbit hole off asshattery.

  • The domestic appliances division has been sold to a chinese-controlled investment firm in 2021. Guess when this push started...

  • For sure, it's not really a problem and often is a feature that release a bunch of great flavour when deglazed and such. But then you'd have to be bothered learning that basic skill. And learning stuff is considered hard for some reason.

  • Non-stick is used as a crutch by people since you don't need to know the proper temperature to cook at or basic simple prep before cooking. That's the only reason I've been able to figure out.

I cook in enameled, stainless, cast iron and carbon steel pans all the time and food will stick if you put it in cold or with the pan is too cold or too hot, too little fat.

  • Both Koreas agree that there is only one Korea. Everything else is different between the regimes but they agree on that point.

  • Indeed. The safest course of action is naturally to put them in concentration camps to avoid that possibility (/s as well).

  • There is a lot of things in dark woods to be fearful of.

  • All browsers on iPad and iPhone are just safari with a coat of paint to be fair.

  • I've seen cryptospam, drugspam, generic adspam on here. Why would a political astroturfspam be a conspiracy theory?

  • Not at that time. That came after the us government pushed the swedish government to do something and they in turn "strongly hinted" to the swedish judiciary system that they better do something.

And finally the sentencing judge socialised professionally with pro-copyright lobbyists.

  • It's right there in the open. Install windows and you'll see it. There is personalised ads in the start menu and the os is uploading your private files to the cloud automatically, taking screenshots and uploading them, etc. It's not hidden whatsoever.

  • So you're saying that the os itself is compromised? Gee, good luck protecting your processes from the fucking os, no matter how you do it.

  • Microsoft are integrating adware and spyware straight into the os.

  • Interestingly that is why I chose them like 5 years ago as I figured that is a plus as far as privacy is concerned. Having 1337 show up when performing a domain owner lookup instead of my name seem like a good thing and if I need it to be registered to me it's easy enough to transfer.

I love the service though and brokep being involved makes them worth considering for anyone into privacy.

  • In my town people have died from being run into with 25 kmh rental e-scooters (eg. Voi) so they definitely have enough mass and speed to both seriously injure and kill people. I can only imagine the damage that is caused by these high speed fatbikes I see people riding on bikepaths now.

  • So your system knows the exact situation and still is slowing down my bike, just at the moment I need to accelerate to avoid being overrun by that large truck heading into me.

This look like a problem with trucks, no? Maybe we should have a system to prevent trucks from running over people.
