  • This is a European citizen leading this project. And the EU is just as dystopian as America, just in slightly different ways. So, sure they could still just arrest someone, but probably not cooperating with America.

  • If you read the article, it is stated that there is a team that hand reviews the matches at the end because of course, like all things, no, it is not perfectly accurate.

  • All these servers are self hosted, and every server admin can set any image banner they want. The instance I host has two simple banners I like that aren't anime https://4get.lurx.net/

I agree with your analysis on open source software though

  • Good! I'm glad it works well

  • Every server owner can set their own banners. Freedom you know, my instance has minimal banner https://4get.lurx.net/

  • Yup, I'm not sure how accurate this is since I've never used SearX but I find this funny, from the creator of 4get.

And not that I'm aware of

  • Looks yum, I am going to shit on you for the low cri cold white led lighting presumably in a living space. 2700k or... Or your wrong I guess

  • Hey, man, I'm right there with you. I'm not planning on buying a new car unless I'm 100% confident I can disable or remove all of its networking and spyware services. I'm just stating that it's stupid that the average American will buy a new car and then say this shit about these cars just because they're Chinese.

Honestly a Chinese car spying on you probably has less negative impact on your life vs any other brand that does business with American companies, of course assuming you yourself are american and live in America.

  • Why would I give a fucking shit? Every new car is a piece of shit spy ware device that collects and sells your data. Honestly, I'd rather china have my data than a fucking capitalist company or America. At least china won't do anything to me, our government is more of a threat to the average American than china is.

  • Respect

  • Ya and her poor kids gonna have lung cancer from second hand smoke too, mom should have the child taken away. Consistent smoking in a closed space with a minor is child abuse IMO.

  • I'm anti-religion and fucking hate religion, so fuck the Ten Commandments and eat shit religious fuck wads

  • ProtonVPN is no log and so is Mullvad I think. Basically it's mostly reputation, some also pay for outside audits of their systems so they can more effectively boast.

No log vpns probably do cooperate with authorities, but the fact that they are no log means they don't provide anything. They get a warrant for logs and identification, they comply and send a letter "we have no logs, or way to trace the identity of a user".

  • Generally speaking, if you're paying for a VPN, then you should be paying for a provider that is no log. Free VPNs, you get what you pay for, which is nothing. So you don't really get any security with that.

  • Drink occasionally, I vape cannabis flower often. I don't use all that much though, less than 0.35 grams a week usually.

I used to go fucking ham on the weed, but I quit at the beginning of this year, and had the most incredibly horrible withdrawals I could imagine. Literally didn't know you could get withdrawals from THC so bad. I had to take a week off of work. I was dizzy to the point of vomiting if I moved my head at all for two weeks, miserable fucking experience. Anywho now I try to indulge responsibly and take breaks often.

Never smoked tobacco, I would hit my friends nic vapes in high school mostly just try try their flavors, they made their own juice and were big dealers In the school selling it haha.

Why do I get high? Well I suppose I really enjoy the feeling of being in an altered state. It feels different, it feels good. It also helps me a decent bit with OCD symptoms most of the time, although I've read online it makes symptoms worse for some people.

  • If on Linux why not just use built in wire guard with VPN of choice?

  • Haha, you're probably right. I enjoy my feed with both spectrums, I'm glad I've got hexbear posts that show up to keep me in check and help get some perspective on things.

  • You are correct, it is just a privacy respecting meta search engine! I self host my own instance, another thing to love.
