If you download one of the offline versions this doesn’t happen. The censoring isn’t part of the AI model, it’s happening at the internet level, likely the great firewall in action.
I’m thinking about buying an Apple TV because I don’t like the built-in software on my TV, and “big corp that isn’t Google” sounds like a reasonable compromise between privacy and integration with big media providers.

Buy a smart TV box like Apple TV or Nvidia Shield. You can get full quality streaming with some ads but not nearly as bad as the software that’s built into some of these TVs.
