Exogollion juche is the ultimate synthesis of Star Wars and Marxism.

  • Solondz movie about South American freak politicians could be good.

  • Annoying how much of the internet is just insincere bullshit now. Same with like YouTube comment trend here people write fake stories about, like, their disabled father who just died loved this song (Rollin' by Limp Bizkit). Or just shit by LLMbots padding out their internet with more fakery.

  • Western right-wing japanophiles are literally the same as the anti-deutsche movement in germany.

  • I don't think they're ever going to make an online game that isn't the playspace of right-libertarians because that's the dominant ideology of the people making the games for the forseeable future. People like Ralph Koster get ignored and treated as annoying or crankish when they talk about online ethics in games and how much more dynamic and robust the MUD/early-MMO space was in terms of taking online games as a new frontier seriously rather than simulated dimensions for christian-libertarians.

  • Asked my dad to get hydrogen peroxide 6% and ammonia to try to deal with some carpet stains while he was out. Got me 3% and no ammonia. EVERY TIME. I asked for lye over the summer to try to neutralize what I was thinking was cat urine/poop under the house and got like some tiny bag of garden lye or something that he bought off Amazon. Fucking stupid. He loves Amazon; he's such a fucking loser. He pretends like he's some rugged ruralite but his solution to every country life problem that arises is basically just ignoring it and degrading everyone's quality of life forever. He can repair cars so he thinks he can or will repair other things, but doesn't.

  • Got a 22TB Seagate HDD from a black friday sale. Wish I could have afforded a Western Digital one, but maybe I'll get lucky in this one lasting. Finally will be able to start double and triple backuping stuff. Got my mom to stop paying for Disney+. I'll use it for the Plex server for downloading Disney stuff that she wants too.

  • I wonder if there's a consistent phenomenon with online games where anti-social or meta-chasing players actively churn out all the fun/kind players every time.

  • Stop walking.

  • I keep meaning to check out the anime version(s) but I know it's going to be boring as fuck.

  • She's not an elf. I would not date an elf, neither the tall nor short kind.

  • She asked "do you mind if I cheese this shit" and pointed at it, to which I assumed she meant Super Mario 3D World that was currently on the gamepad display and said yeah that's fine, obviously. Come back, an assortment of cheeses and crackers are atop it as she plays on the TV screen, somehow balancing the various gourmand delights and making a hundredth attempt on the final Champion's Road stage.

Still smells like cheese months later.Still haven't beaten Champion's Road.

  • What about how the story about how I was betrayed by my now ex-GF using my Wii U gamepad as an improvised charcuterie board while gaming?

  • Yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking it'd be.

Anyone watch Anniversary (2025)? It's by some Polish director who gives me massive shitlib vibes from what I'm reading from his previous works and it's yet another US-goes-crazy political movie.

  • How are you not referencing Glengarry Glenross when talking about speculators selling useless swampland in Florida?

  • Listening now. It's pretty good.

Canada Post & Workers Have Reached A Tentative Deal As Of Nov. 21st (waiting for workers to vote on it, I believe)

  • Yeah. Any digital file system that would be better would be better IRL too, assuming the physical items had the same properties as digital files. So whatever organization system they come up with should work with paper sheets, music and game discs, etc. as well as digital files. And yet most of the ways organizing physical items sucks is 3-dimensional spatial dimensions, non-repelicability, non-trivial to move around/access/put back, etc. All things digital files have (although files still have a 1-dimensional dimension requirement in file size and probably more volatility.

Haven't heard anything that's better. Especially since the alternative file systems I've heard about seem to be more abstract and don't convert back into hierarchical file systems as easily as hierarchical file systems are able to absorb whatever mushy connections/logic that people seem to partially desire via metatag systems and shortcuts/symlinks.

Like, right now I can sort all my anime via a folder titled "!genre" and then inside it have non-exclusive genres with shortcuts to the anime folders I would consider horror, classic OVAs, want to re-watch, etc. I don't see how having a more abstracted file system makes this any easier or faster, necessarily. The people who don't want to deal with this seem to not want to deal with computers at all and want a Star Trek/AI/etc.-type agent to handle it all for them via voice command or thought command or something. It's not an incompatibility with current computer systems, it's their ignorance or hatred of them in totality.

  • They should include manual paper sorting with folders and papers in communist computer lab.

  • We need better video previews on the site. Just need a thumbnail at least. Have no idea what the video is and YouTube is boderline a risky click nowadays.

Almost done watching the 7-episode Giant Robo OVA and it's one of the best anime I've seen. It's like a more earnest, melodramatic take on what Eva was similarly inspired by.

Been watching the Crayon Shin-chan movies. This movie, #9, is really good. I think most of you would like it. Also really liked the 7th movie, which was similar to Shin-Godzilla. Also the 3rd movie.
