  • Self-critting on my earlier post about Chi Osse now that it’s less opaque where the lines were drawn on it, and since I also did some self-reflection on my initial reactions. I'm less wary that he's an opportunist now and I honestly think he should be endorsed next cycle if he continues to align with the socialist movement. I think I ended up negatively polarizing myself against it because I saw a lot of X Dot Com accounts I deem rather credulous making it into a sectarian wedge which rubbed against my outside-chapter view of the situation being more of a resource allocation debate.

    TL;DR:

  • you are a white Marxist critiquing white Marxists for not immanentizing the eschaton (i.e. not marching on the house of a congressional representative and breaking all his possessions with hammers or something). I am a white Marxist critiquing white Marxists for being way too comfortable talking down to minorities because they believe themselves absolved of their place in social hierarchies by having the Mazovian Socio-Economics thought internalized

  • there is so much resentment for reformism (correctly) permeating that the discourse has somehow arrived at a point where the idea of organizational strategy is indisputable proof that DSA is exactly the same as the Weimar SPD

I do have a dog in this race, being transparent. unfortunately posting is not politics so until the vanguard dirty breaks or forms from whatever org it's in I'm gonna be doing what I can to agitate IRL. Likely gonna have less luck in the 'burbs but that's why I got myself to join my local DSA. At least I'm trying something

  • uggggghhhhhhh the reaction to the reaction to the Chi Osse bid is going to fucking calcify a lib lobe into my brain, I’m starting to get tired of western 'anti-western Marxist' Marxists

atp like it's just a bunch of people hitting the

but wrapped in Maoist/Third-Worldist language, which allows the lack of the most basic materialist inference (i.e. a political party is an organization with a pool of resources and a group of laborers it is able to allocate but is restricted by time, work, and means) to pass with much less scrutiny than it deserves due to the geopolitics of said tendency being largely correct.

like yeah America and Israel are a symbiotic unit in which Israel acts as America’s attack dog and therefore is allowed to pillage the entire Middle East under the threat of American soft/hard power and ultimately America is the one that can pull the leash. no we probably shouldn’t spend actual money and time and labor on attempting a decapitation strike on the House Minority Leader that is +24 in his district when there are like five infinitely more winnable districts up for grabs in the state. the legislative branch is a numbers game. there is a reason Dems can always find a rotating villain. the goal would be to smother their capacity to operate as such

  • got the pointless hub Ready Player One vid that just came out in my feed and being served a reminder of this book I was essentially subjected to at my summer camp by my parents when I had nothing better to read is an exercise in

Ernest Cline created a Hitlerite hellscape where not only is everyone immiserated and connected to the wank machine to distract from their material realities but there is a sub-society/cult within the wank machine built around 'what if we did Esotericism about the 1980s' that has made a criticality of Gen Beta rotely replicate the shibboleths of Gen X as a substitute for the continuation of culture. Every chapter it feels like they are about to hit a JQ but a slant in which the J stands for Jock.

  • the only way NYC-DSA as a broader body wins back some of the respect I lost for it with the weird local-only dues thing is if they lean in and heighten this contradiction. Feels like a make-or-break moment for the state body post-Zohran given the NYC-DSA right-flank seemingly wanting to lean into Zohran no matter what, to 'establish credibility' and ride the wave of his election so-to-speak, from the rumblings I've seen.

Being fellow DSA cadre, I really hope they do not allow this Liberal Zionist to coast into this seat because he was nice to Zohran, it would be very fucking embarrassing if this effort petered out due to this personality-base contradiction.

  • yeah he’s not there yet, but who knows how things will play out. it’s interesting how even some hyperpartisan laymen are beginning loathe their masters. Very interesting that the only base of uncritical support left may be party staff and colleagues. I will watch this situation with interest. I am quite interested in what may result from this.

  • normie lib update: my dad, who has prior peddled the "Biden was the most progressive president since FDR" line and was subscribed to Jen Rubin’s Substack just a year prior is now cursing out Chuck Schumer and calling for everyone who caves to be ostracized from politics
