I love thinkpad L480. Also, if you get a good deal then try getting Macbook 2017 Intel version. You could install Linux on that and it's quite light weight.
I agree for the drinks. But I can't cook fries like my local burger place does. And it's cheap, like half a dollar (USD equivalent of my home currency) for 1 box of fries.
I never needed transcoding. So jellyfin ran on my Raspi4 for a couple of years. Never faced any issues to be honest.
Major issue was hard disk getting disconnected, but then again I had faulty SATA to USB connectors.
I have an old motherboard where I (the smartass) thought would be better off buying an PCIe expansion card to support NVMe [Which would free up one of my SATA port consumed by the OS Boot SSD].
