  • You got paid leave right?

And even so why would you need to take a day of to vote? We have over a 100 people we can vote for here in NL and we often do it before or after work

  • didn't understand what tariffs are and how they work

I really hope people to make into consideration than one point to make a vote.

  • Have been using it for a while on different systems including some pretty unstable test systems and I haven’t had any issues. It does have some issues with that you cannot trust the automatic import since AB might create extra transactions

  • You can setup your own if you wish, but a lot of these parties also have had an audit done on security and on privacy. That is not gonna matter if you live in the US, but that is a problem

  • I have had a lot of issues setting up Firefly III on different systems so I never got to get it working.

Eventueel I ended upfinding Actual Budget, while not perfect it works really well and I have been using it for more than a year now

  • Just because you can (pretty easily) self host it doesn’t mean that the privacy concerns aren’t valid.

  • I don’t support conservative parties? I am more politically right aligned, but also more progressive. Stop assuming shit about people

  • Yeah you are right, but US politics doesn’t allow for nuances. People aren’t left or right or conservative or progressive. They will have bieves that suit a certain direction on the politic spectrum, but people can have opinions regarding different topics all across the eniter spectrum.

  • Yeah and especially when they created a system that doesn’t even allow you to really vote for somebody who you believe in.

The US is a timebomb which is going to explode.

  • The US was doomed from the start, it might have been better to let every state be it’s own country. We would probably see some wars with the more extreme places/states of the country.

  • And even if they have an official language what then?

    Nothing really changes

  • In the US walking outside is generally terrible even in the suburbs.

  • Extremism is bad yes, but you are assuming that is everything I can vote for. Politics is a spectrum and I know the US doesn’t see it, but in the end I vote in a country where I can vote on over 100 people from like 40 different parties. Same for when I vote for the EU.

I believe that the lack of nuance is part of the problem why I think the US lacks in the compromise department. No there is no defence for extremism, but if you don’t have any good options to vote for then you choose for the one you think is the least bad.

  • The actions of a few shouldn’t punish the rest. Yeah extremism is bad and that is where Nazi’s and MAGA fall under (or Geert Wilders here in NL), but that doesn’t mean that every party that has a more conservative view on the world is inherently bad.

And that is where I stand, but there are rarely parties that are centered enough in the spectrum to follow my view on the world.

  • The moment they ask for a tip they are not getting anything nor a repeat customer.

  • You don’t need to “own” greenland for that, you could have lighter security like the EU has with say Switzerland.

  • Just because France is still a shit hole doesn’t mean the protests don’t work

  • The states basically function like separate countries anyway so you can definitely protest on a state wide and it will be noticed. Look where you can start and not what you can’t do.

It’s not like we are protesting EU rules and ruglations with people from different countries, no we protest per country to make a difference.
