  • There is nothing questionable about the idea, in case of war you need to get the fuel to the airfields from which your air force operates. If you can use pipeline from the refineries far from the frontlines for at least a part of the distance you are saving yourself fuel tanker capacity for the last stretch from the pipeline terminal to the airfield. Not to mention saving the tanker fuel and road congestion.

  • If we are talking JP-8 which is kerosene based fuel it's questionable if there even would be an explosion. Did you know fuel storage is used in some tanks as an additional protection against cumulative ammunition?

  • Everybody is gangsta until you need to exit from the innermost lane at Place Charles de Gaulle.

  • Beetle was a copy of a Tatra anyway.

  • With a few exceptions all the games I have played in the last 10 years have one thing in common - open world. Then again I have mostly played only Dayz/Arma, Rust and Space Engineers.

  • Tell your history teachers they suck. Churchill didn't become PM until 10th of May 1940 when Poland was long gone and just as Germans were starting Fall Gelb - attack on France.

  • But Lousiana was French.

  • Sure, it's good. But if Europe really needs Trump to handle not only Putin, but also Orbán for us, then we are truly cooked.

  • Oh no, you still aren't at 1861-65 levels of fun. For now.

  • Tiraspol in not the Moldova's main city, that would be Chisinau, the capital which is 5x time as large. Guardian FFS.

Aha, it's fixed in the article.

  • The problem with this stuff is you can't never be too sure that it isn't an intentional "leak" just to spread nuclear scare.

  • What it is considered a high-speed train in the USA and how come they don't have grade separated crossings as they do in every civilized country?

  • Please. Watt is an SI unit of power, equivalent of Joule per second. Watt-hour is a non-SI unit of energy( 1Wh = 3600 J). Learn the difference and use it correctly.

  • Wrong, Czech republic signed contract for 24 F-35s almost a year ago.

  • Well, if you remember one of his ideas was leaving NATO, so he is an idiot, but at least in this one thing he is consistent.

  • Unfortunately that's not necessarily true. The north of Ukraine at the time was covered by S-300 and/or S-400 AA systems deployed in russia. While these can be dealt with by F-35(As demonstrated by Israel), something as old and slow as A-10 wouldn't fare well. Which is one of the reasons why the US Air force is trying to retire them.
