You're going to have a difficult time cutting through others' cognitive dissonance. Humor, distancing, false-equivalence, and sarcasm... Are all refuge from the discomfort of being indifferent at best, or outright complicit. If people could start accepting it's just sad.
It means you get to view the circle side-on, and watch history oscillate back and forth like the red light on KITT from Knight Rider, or the Cylon eye.
Last time I checked the history books, it was the Soviet Union under Stalin that rolled into Berlin. You can't even see your own cognitive dissonance over calling the person that literally fought Hitler, Hitler? Plus, you've done nothing to address the fact that the cartoon you posted is literally true and posted on the same front pages of Lemmy? You've clearly been subjected to some wild capitalist bullshit. My condolences.
This behavior is abusive. Talk to your school social worker. They specialize in this. They'll also tell you what they can/will share, and what is considered confidential, so you can start vague and choose your comfort zone from there.
The reason MLK said that the white moderate is the biggest threat to blacks is the white moderate is because consent of the masses allows things like lynchings. Today, such consent building allows hate groups to target minorities with little or no opposition, or even using tax dollars to "help Israel defend its sovereignty," while actually committing genocide for Raytheon and Lockheed Martin profits.
