  • How often do you use it unfolded versus folded? Are there certain things you prefer one or the other?

Hope you don’t mind the questions! What model do you have?

  • Nice one. I have vastly cut down on Amazon spending to try and buy more things locally. I wish there was a local app we could use (Scotland) which collated local sellers and their items, would rather pay more to get them from here instead of Amazon when I can’t drive there.

  • Paying for Prime then getting adverts anyway. Arseholes.

  • I use iCloud as I’m in deep with the Apple ecosystem but opened Tuta and have been happy with it so far!

  • For real. I switch between these two when I want to know what’s happening in the world then want to forget what’s happening in the world cos it’s depressing.

  • Not that it isn’t interesting but isn’t this meant to be for memes?

  • Thanking you kindly! I hear some of it at work but am often perplexed.

  • I'm 40 this year I may just be getting too old but what does Based mean? I searched for it online previously and the explanation confused me but I see it everywhere along with cap/no cap and bet.

  • I know you are being downvoted but I feel similar for the most part, I do find that not all countries versions of the left-centre-right divide marry up to each other and even the terminologies can get confusing. e.g in UK we have Liberal Democrats who are the only Centre party but the word Liberal in there can cause confusion for others. In Scotland we have free education including all the way through to degrees at universities etc thought that was started by the left wing government, the centre party wants to keep it as does the right wing.

  • Sister and I ran across the road in winter when we were kids and slipped on the pavement ice, both going arse over elbow in a very comical cartoon slip in time with each other.

  • Used to pay for Duolingo but find their choice of phrases and style to be counter intuitive for me. Rarely do they impress the why or give any type of background. I switched to Spanishdict and bought premium after been impressed with it because the software offers much more.

However learning Portuguese at same time now so spun up Duo for that so the owl can harass me some more.

  • Representing Scotland here with suggestions of Billy Connolly and Kevin Bridges.

  • Reddit changed the API which meant that any popular third party apps were going to have the pay thousands or even millions to Reddit just to access it.

Third party apps like Boost, Apollo etc all left the platform but some devs created apps for Lemmy instead which gave people the experience they were used to. Reddit official app is full of ads and you can’t download half the stuff you want.
