  • I have been testing the waters on my home PC, and was thrilled to see the live USB in my bag.

It might be time for me to bite the bullet and load it on my laptop too. I am beyond fed up with Windows at this point.

The minimal software compatibility issues were the only thing holding me back. (and GeForce drivers…)

  • To out myself, I’m actually in education in America. Though it has serious flaws, I don’t know that the education system can take the full blame for this one.

My major worries at the moment are: firstly, the instant access to information, which students prioritize instead of doing any heavy lifting with their own minds (especially as AI is being thrust on to them to do the thinking for them), and secondly, the lack of accountability from within the system and without, as parents and administrators refuse to place any boundaries on student behavior.

Both of those things seem to be crippling any growth beyond primary school.

  • Something may have gotten lost in the mix. You are taking a very defensive stance, when I asked a neutral question.

I looked through your responses, and at no point did you clarify what you actually meant by the phrase “hits the receptor sideways”.

I’m pretty sure you are referring to the fact that it is a partial agonist, and all I requested was that you clarify if that was the case.

I apologize if that somehow put you on your heels.

That said, there is no need for name calling or projecting ill intent. Thank you very much

  • I’m an educator, and we have the revision history extenstion in Google doc that allows us to see the document as it was written.

If large blocks of text suddenly appear, it indicates plagiarism.

Knowing your students and their lexicon, it’s unnecessary for most of us to use it though.

Most of the students that try to sneak AI struggle with writing to begin with, which makes it remarkably obvious when they try to pass off something that is not theirs.
