  • It does. It does with every mode of transport (except for really rare and really weird cases).

The difference is in terms of scalability. Public transit like trains and buses are a lot more scalable than cars. A city that entirely uses public transit would be a lot more cost and space efficient and would be a lot better for the environment compared to a city that entirely uses cars.

The "induced demand" argument is primarily used against the "just one more lane will fix the traffic bro" argument. The complete argument goes as follows: Building one more lane for a given road won't end up reducing private automobile traffic. In fact, it would induce demand for travelling using private automobiles, thus increasing the demand for road space, thus making the road reach capacity a lot quicker than expected. Is it technically possible to design a city around cars, such that all its inhabitants can drive to their destinations? Sure. The costs (financial, environmental, health, etc.) however are huge. We don't want to pay these costs. Most individuals are not aware of these costs and are misled into believing that these costs are a lot less than what they actually are.

  • How to get boipregante with protection??? /s

  • RIGHT?!?! It just looks like another Imgur to me

  • Clickbait-ey title

  • We kinda don't know for sure though. The tinier the black hole gets, the more it enters into the realm of quantum mechanics. We have no clue how quantum gravity works, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Ok, so even if it "falls down", it will probably evaporate way before it even reaches the center. Even if it doesn't, it will be take A VERY LONG TIME for it to get big enough to eat the planet out or whatever.

It is very VERY difficult to make something fall inside a black hole. Mostly, stuff just zooms right past it at incredible speeds.

The earth would be consumed by the sun way before it gets consumed by a black hole.

  • It would be almost impossible to do something like that without enough fuel though.

  • Isn't that a solvable problem though? Overshoot the target planet by just enough, that it isn't in the hemisphere of the warp bubble pointed towards the direction of motion.

  • Us developing an actual black hole would be one of the best things humanity has ever done. It would kinda be like inventing techniques to make fire.

We could throw shit around the orbit of the black hole and get fusion. Not just deuterium fusion! Even proton proton fusion. Our energy needs would be solved practically forever.

We could conduct a crazy amount of experiments on the black hole, see quantum effects of gravity and whatnot.

Maybe we could build one of em Alcubierre drives that don't need exotic matter?

  • The gator will surely "remove" the cause of the depression, eh?

  • LMFAO

This really sounds like one of the pornos I've read. Except there's mpreg n shit like that in there too

  • I'm so sorry OP.

  • Exactly. When I talked to my conservative Indian grandpa about gay people, he was like "how would you feel if two bearded dudes just started fucking in the street?". It's really crazy how people can be so... dumb...

  • Thank you, bisexuals

  • Honestly it's kinda wholesome.

    Agreed haha. So cute

  • Yeah.... Yeah we do :(

  • Please fuck off. I really want to believe that you are just ignorant and mean well, but still. It's hard being polite.

I am gay, and I have known it even before I knew what the word "gay" meant. Being gay doesn't just mean "ooo I wanna fuck that manly ass so much, ooo I wanna suck dick". Does being straight mean "pussy pussy I want pussy"? No. It can mean having romantic feelings for your male best friend, really liking to look at a male celeb for a very long time cuz they just "look pretty" and so on.

I was surrounded by homophobes who constantly denounced being homosexuality. I had to spend my entire childhood feeling that there was something terribly wrong with me. This was until I actually discovered the LGBTQ community. I understood that I was not the only "freak" like this in the world. I understood that I could live a nice and beautiful life as a gay dude.

If I was exposed to the concept of homosexuality in childhood (the fact that something like this even exists, and that you're not a freak for being gay in case you think you are), then my childhood would've been a lot better.

The same goes with gender identity. I'm cis, so I won't be able to give a very good description of what it's like being trans, but from what I've understood from my trans friends, it's pretty similar.

Why should kids have to suffer for not being cis n straight? Conservatives make it seem as if kids are being taught how to fellatio Jeffery Epstein or something. Kids do need to know about concepts like these (them being sexuality, gender identity, etc.) so that they can protect themselves from going down the spiral of self hatred.
