I‘m always amazed at the amount of people believing the Steam Machine will be sold for the same or less than the most expensive version of the Steam Deck while being six times as powerful.
What helped me overcoming FOMO was just missing out on stuff online or in online games on purpose and realizing that I didn't actually missed out on anything.
I started with telling one coworker who I work closely together with. After that I told my boss who was already my friend before I started working for him and then I told the rest of the company (like 5 people). I got no negative reactions.
I installed Fedore Kinoite on my mom's laptop. I would always install Fedora on someone elses computer because it's what I use myself and have the most experience with it.
Thank you so much! And don’t get discouraged, everyone progresses differently and waiting is certainly the most difficult part of this whole process. Currently I wish my breasts would develop a little faster but alas I can’t do anything about it but wait.
If you don’t want to misgender them by using the wrong pronouns just ask them for the correct ones. And addressing them by their chosen name is the bare minimum.
Speaking for myself (as I can't speak for everyone) I wouldn't mind compliments on my looks/clothes etc but certainly not in reference to my transition, that's a no-go. Especially if other people (doubly so for strangers) are in earshot, I don't want them to know if they haven't caught up on it already. There is always the chance that I pass for them and I don't want that ruined, if I want to tell them I'm trans I can do that myself on my own terms.
I've always wanted to learn Korean and I tried multiple times but never really stayed motivated enough to keep at it. How do you stay motivated?
