I believe you're right. In Denmark the speed limit on highways are 130 km/h and limited to 110 km/h near the larger cities. Country roads have limits of 80 km/h, some 90 km/h and some 70 km/h.
Driving 150 km/h on the highway is not safe, when everyone else is driving 130. And most of our highways only have two lanes in each direction.
The speed limit is also typically 80km/h on these barely paved roads in Denmark.
Jeg synes det var enormt tydeligt på Reddit, at rigtig meget at aktiviteten var bots. Både opslag og kommentarer, og selvom det ikke var bots, så var min tillid til at det rent faktisk var et menneske der skrev, minimal. Det ødelagde til sidst fuldstændig oplevelsen af Reddit for mig.
Internettet føles allerede enormt ødelagt, og jeg mener man er naiv, hvis man tror man er immum over for at blive manipuleret, selv hvis man er opmærksom på, at man bliver det fra alle vinkler. Det går mig rigtig meget på, og jeg synes det er grænseoverskridende og det frustrerer, at alt skal være drevet af politisk og/eller (whisky??) økonomisk interesser.
På den anden side, så har jeg ikke brugt så lidt tid på sociale medier, siden jeg sad ved en computer for første gang for nok over 20 år siden.
Jeg er begyndt at nørde med servere og det føles sgu fedt. Jeg har aldrig rigtig før nørdet med noget. Konen siger at autismen begynder at vise sig, haha.
Jeg har netop bestilt et bundkort med en XEON E3-1370v3 processor hjem, som skal være udgangspunktet for en ny server, som jeg skal bruge til at lege med Kind (Kubernetes in Docker). Jeg har fornylig fået sat min første server op med pi-hole, medieserver og home assistant. Det er god læring. Samtidig er jeg begyndt at læse Just for Fun: The Story of an Accidental Revolutionary af Linus Thorvalds. Det er god læsning, og passer med fint med at jeg har fået installeret Linux på min pc igen, som det primære styresystem.
Det er dejligt at kunne blive distraheret i den her tid. Jeg har slettet alle social media apps (havde kun linkedin og feddit tilbage), og bruger kun feddit og linkedin via computeren nu. Jeg ser frem til roen. Den er tiltrængt. Jeg kan mærke dopamintrangen havde taget overhånd, igen, så 2026 må gerne blive et år mentalt ro og overskud.

My issue is that I would often start on something like "like peas in a pod" but directly translated Danish, which wouldn't be something people would say.
But again, that would probably fuck up the business case for Wegovy and other Novo Nordics products and subsequently Denmark's economy. Might be a bad idea. We shouldn't forget about the billionaires and their wealth.
I wonder if your brain then starts to align how you hear your own voice and how you hear it when it's recorded. If it starts to sound more the same for you.
Would also be really weird if you for a long period only heard recordings of you speaking, and when you start speak again, you get equally, or probably more, freaked out by your own voice, as when your hear it recorded.
The worst part for me is mixing sayings and the construction of sentences. I've never been that good at English grammar, but after using English more and more, my grammar in my native language have gotten worse. I'm half way in a sentence, in my native language, before I notice I've started on an English saying, but directly translated to my native language and it makes no sense. But, there's no cow on the ice, as you say, because my wife and I are like pots and pans, as you also say; we are the same way.
Thanks. We gave him ten good years. He was found alone in the woods, only 10 weeks old. He was so thin and had Giardia. We got him cured but he needed a special diet his entire life, was often at the vet, which couldn't do anything really. In the end, we needed to get him euthenazied. My first cat, first pet and I didn't imagine I would care so much for a little creature.
He was the kind of cat that would sleep on your chest, he could play fetch, and he would come to the door when I was on my way out, and demanded to either be picked up or get me down on a knee (even though there were others at home) so he could do this weird and very cute thing where we kind of chewed on my nose while purring insanely.
